	Teacher:	Good morning, students.	อรุณสวัสดิ์นักเรียน
	Students:	Good morning, sir.	อรุณสวัสดิ์ ครับคุณครู
	Teacher:	Welcome to English class. My name is John Smith. I'm your English teacher.	ยินดีต้อนรับเข้าสู่ วิชาเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ คุณครู ชื่อ จอหน์ สมิท ผมมาเป็นครูสอนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของพวกเธอ
	Students:	Good morning, Mr. Smith.	อรุณสวัสดิ์ครับ คุณครูสมิทธ
	Teacher:	Let me call the roll first.	ขอครูขานเช็คชื่อนักเรียนก่อนนะ
		Mr.Somchai, Ms.Kitty,,.......	นายสมชาย, นางสาวคิตตี้
	Students:	Present!	มาครับ/ มาคะ
	Teacher:	Today, we're going to learn the basic structure of English language: a sentence. Basically, an English sentence contains a subject and a predicate. What's the subject of a sentence? Anyone knows?	วันนี้เราจะเรียน โครงสร้างพื้นฐานของภาษาอังกฤษ นั้นก็คือประโยค โดยพื้นๆแล้วประโยคภาษาอังกฤษประกอบด้วย ประธานหนึ่งกับ ภาคขยายหนึ่ง ประธานของประโยคคืออะไร? มีใครรู้มัย?
	Somchai:	A subject is the doer of the action in a sentence. A predicate explains what the subject is doing.	สมชาย ทราบครับ ประธานก็คือคนที่กระทำกริยาของประโยค ส่วนภาคขยายอธิบายว่าประธานกำลังทำอะไรครับ
	Teacher:	Very good Somchai. A sentence is a group of words that says somethings, all by itself. It's complete; it can stand alone. The subject is the person or thing you're talking about. The predicate is what you're saying about it. For example: Johnny's house is at the end of the road. The subject is Johnny's house; the predicate is is at the end of the road. Everybody understands?	เก่งมาก นายสมชาย ประโยคก็คือกลุ่มคำที่สื่อความหมายถึงอะไรบางอย่าง สมบูรณ์โดยตัวมันเอง มันสามารถสื่อความหมายได้โดยลำพังเดี่ยวๆไม่ต้องใช่คำอื่นมาอธิบายเพิ่มอีก ประธานก็คือบุคคล หรือสิ่งต่างๆที่ถูกกล่าวถึง/พูดถึง ภาคขยายก็คืออะไรที่พูดถึงประธานนั้นเอง ขอยกตัวอย่างประโยคว่า บ้านของจอห์นนี่ตั้งอยู่สุดถนนนั้น จะเห็นได้ว่า ประธานหมายถึง บ้านของจอห์นนี่ ส่วนภาคขยายก็คือ ตั้งอยู่ที่สุดถนนนั้น ทุกคนพอจะเข้าใจมัย?
	Students:	Yes sir. We understand.	เข้าใจครับ คุณครู
	Teacher:	Good! That's it for today. See you tomorrow. Dismissed!	ดีมาก วันนี้พอแค่นี้ก่อน พบกันใหม่พรุ่งนี้ เลิกเรียน

	Question 1	Excuse me, how do I get to Hua Lamphong station?	ขอโทษนะครับ ช่วยบอกทางผม ที่จะไป สถานีรถไฟหัวลำโพงได้อย่างไรครับ
	Answer	Go straight on and keep going until you see the junction. Then turn left and keep going and the station's in front of you.	เดินตรงไปจนกระทั้ง คุณเห็นสี่แยกไฟแดงข้างหน้า จากนั้น เลี้ยวซ้าย และเดินต่อไป คุณก็จะเห็นสถานีอยู่ข้างหน้าคุณ
	Question 2	A police officer is chasing a robber and wants him to stop.	ตำรวจนายหนึ่ง กำลังวิ่งไล่จับผู้ร้ายอยู่ และต้องการให้มันหยุด
	Answer	He shouts, "Freeze!"	ตำรวจตะโกนว่า "หยุดอย่าขยับนะโว้ย"
	Question 3	How do you do? My name is John Miller.	สวัสดีครับ (เจอกันเป็นครั้งแรก) ชื่อของฉันคือ จอห์น มิลเลอร์
	Answer	How do you do? I'm John McGuyver	สวัสดีครับ ฉัน จอห์น เมคกายเวอร์
